A text sizing function has been implemented on this site to make it more accessible to people with low vision by offering a layout that uses larger text.
Located in the left-hand sidebar under the navigation menu, it uses CSS, JavaScript, and the DOM to let you subtly modify this site’s type size.
So, why are you here?
You may have come to this page for any of the following reasons:
- You are using a text browser or wireless device. Text sizing won’t work in non-visual environments like the one you’re using, and it isn’t supposed to work in such environments.
- You have turned off JavaScript and/or cookies in your browser. The text sizer requires them.
- Your browser does not completely or correctly support the DOM and/or JavaScript. For instance, you may be using an old version of Opera. The latest version of the Opera browser understands this text sizing functionality perfectly. Likewise, Netscape 4, built prior to the release of the W3C standard DOM, does not understand it. Netscape 6 and higher does.
